Procesor VIA C3 866AMHz vyšel 11. září roku 2001 a tedy přesně v den teroristického útoku na USA . V ceníku jsem ho nikde nenašel, ale v polovině roku 2002 mohl stát okolo 1400 Kč a bylo nutno dokoupit aktivní chladič. Mně se ho podařilo přetaktovat OC na 988MHz. Písmenko A za číslem frekvence znamená přítomnost L2 cache a ta má velikost 64KB.
