Procesor VIA C3 650MHz mohl vyjít někdy v polovině roku 2000. V ceníku jsem ho nikde nenašel, ale v polovině roku 2001 mohl stát okolo 1600 Kč a bylo nutno dokoupit aktivní chladič. Mně se ho podařilo přetaktovat OC na 741MHz. Zajímavé je, že procesor neobsahuje L2 cache a proto je jeho výkon dost nízký. To je také možná důvod, proč se ani nedostal do ceníků, jelikož za podobnou cenu byl Intel Celeron či AMD Duron výhodnější. Zároveň byl už v téhle době nahrazen jádrem Samuel 2, který L2 cache obsahoval a tím pádem podával o něco lepší výsledky.
